The team

Bringing drivers through

Panis Racing was born in 2016 out of the meeting between Olivier Panis and Stéphane Dilouya, around one conviction: a French team on a human scale can compete at the front in Europe. The first season opened with a start at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and eighth place in class. The team raced under the name Panis-Barthez Compétition in its early days, when Fabien Barthez was driving.

Since 2016, Panis Racing has run young drivers at the highest level of European endurance racing, alongside experienced drivers. Several of them are now professional drivers, manufacturer works drivers or class winners at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

In 2026, the team races under the colours of Forestier Racing by Panis, with technical support from TDS Racing.

What we offer does not fit on a car. It is a family, a whole season, a human adventure as much as a sporting one. Olivier Panis, team principal

Rigour

Four hours of racing punish the slightest approximation. That rigour runs through the preparation, the set-up and every decision taken during the race.

Passing it on

The team has always run young drivers alongside experienced ones. Several are now professionals or manufacturer works drivers.

Closeness

A family before it is a structure. The same faces from one season to the next, each in their place, and nobody working alone. That is what lets the team move as one.

Consistency

Podiums in the championship and at Le Mans year after year, with driver line-ups that change. Performance comes from what drivers and team build together.

Yves Forestier

Former head of the family business Petit Forestier, he built and grew a company that became an international benchmark.

He applies the same approach to racing: long-term projects, and the time it takes to support young drivers and bring them on. Louis Rousset is the proof, backed from his early days and supported season after season all the way to LMP2.
